Peer Mentoring

Our Peer Mental Health Support Project is for young people 11 to 19 years. Young people will be matched with an appropriate Change Maker Volunteer or Young Trainee Youth Worker. A Peer mentor can support a young person through a difficult time in their life for example they can help if a young person is feeling worried about the future, anxious about school, isolated or lonely.

*Peer mentors are trained to spot significant mental health concerns and safeguarding issues, which may lead to further referral and sharing of relevant information for the protection of the young person concerned.

To make a referral or request a peer mentor please visit our Get Involved page.
